In an effort to create a safe and caring place to learn and grow, Archdiocesan policy requires that anyone wishing to volunteer at St. Madeline parish must have: 1) the required security clearances; and 2) have completed all the necessary Safe Environment trainings. In order to be considered “active” in service to our parish, your documentation must be current. Please return the information needed to Mr. Chris Avery, our Safe Environment Coordinator, at the rectory office as soon as possible in order for you to continue your service to St. Madeline. Before volunteering, please complete these 6 steps:
Step 1: Criminal Record Check- (valid for 5 years). This form goes directly to the PA State Police. You must fill in the information and mail it to PA State Police. You can submit electronically and obtain immediate results, but you must print out the certificate and submit to the rectory office. Step 2: Child Abuse Clearance- (valid for 5 years). This form is completed by you at this site: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home Please submit results to the rectory office.
